Prior to joining GSA in 2001, Frank was a co-founder and Vice President of Biocode, a venture-backed spin-out from Shell UK, which pioneered the application of medical diagnostic technology to "fingerprinting" products. During his six-year tenure at Biocode, Frank helped raise $15 million in venture capital from Apax, Oxford Bioscience Partners and Mercury Asset Management and also spent 18 months as Managing Director, Asia, based in Singapore. Previously, Frank spent three years in early-stage venture capital as an Associate at Innotage Management and as an Analyst in the healthcare group of Advent Venture Partners in London.
Undergraduate degree Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Harvard Business School where he graduated as a Baker Scholar.
