Prior Experience:
Prior to founding Grove Street in 1998, Dave was the Founder and Managing Partner of Mazza & Reilly, which under his leadership became the largest and best-known executive search practice serving the venture capital industry. During his 20-year career in executive search, he recruited more than 40 General Partners for leading venture capital firms, and more than 40 CEO/COOs in venture capital backed portfolio companies. Through that process, he developed a very broad range of contacts and relationships. These contacts have also resulted in a small but highly successful deal origination practice where Dave was able to package an attractive investment opportunity with a top quality management team and capital raised from the venture industry.

Education:
Undergraduate degree in sociology from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard University.
