Catherine co-founded GSA in 1998 and is a General Partner of the firm and member of its Investment Committee. Catherine leads investments across buyouts, growth equity and venture capital, including early development of GSA's IT and healthcare venture portfolio and in 2004, the firm's India portfolio. She was the lead investor for a number of new private equity teams that are now well established as leaders within their areas of investment focus, and is active on numerous advisory boards.

Prior to GSA, Catherine built a successful 14-year career in the design and implementation of private equity investment programs where there was both a financial and business development objective. In total, she led the formation of private equity investment programs with nearly $400 million under management for major corporate and state pension fund investors.
