Bruce focuses on fund investment activities across sectors, including fund due diligence and evaluation, as well as monitoring existing investments. He participates in all Investment Committee meetings. As a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and with prior experience leading private equity due diligence efforts in China, he has particular knowledge and expertise in the Chinese market and is actively working with GSA's China funds.
Prior to re-joining GSA in 2011, Bruce worked at GSA as an investment associate. Previously, he was a Senior Consultant at Monitor Group's Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance group, where he led M&A, due diligence, and corporate finance engagements for both corporate and private equity clients in a number of situations from corporate carve-outs, investment diligence, acquisition campaigns, balance sheet restructuring to turnarounds. His client engagements spanned three continents, having worked significant periods of time in the US/Canada, China, London, and Israel. Bruce also worked in his family's construction equipment leasing and trading business in China before moving to the U.S.
